Armenia hands over to Azerbaijan remains of ten deceased during first Karabakh War

Armenian and Azerbaijani media sources say that Armenia handed over to Azerbaijan the remains of ten Azerbaijanis killed in the First Karabakh War. The sources cite information from the press service of the National Security Service of Armenia.

"On December 1, the Armenian side handed over to the Azerbaijani side the remains of 10 people, presumably killed during the First Karabakh War, as well as two maps indicating the possible location of four bodies," the report says.

The National Security Service of Armenia said that since the end of the 2020 war it had handed the remains of 140 Azerbaijanis and five location maps to the Azerbaijani side
