Moscow hosts another meeting of the tripartite working group on transport

Moscow on Tuesday (6 December) hosted another session of the Armenia-Azerbaijan-Russia working group on transport.

This was the 11th session of the tripartite working group which is co-chaired by Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Overchuk and Azerbaijani Deputy Prime Minister Shahin Mustafayev.

"During the session, issues related to the construction of the railway between Armenia, Azerbaijan and Russia and in the region, the development of railway communication and the organization of transportation were discussed", a reported posted on the website of the Armenian government stated

"The parties will continue to work towards the implementation of the tripartite statements of the leaders of Armenia, Russia and Azerbaijan on the unblocking of transport and economic ties in the region. The parties emphasized the positive role of Russia in the normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as efforts to unblock economic and transport links between them," the report said.
