Earlier today, the president of Russia, Vladimir Putin, and the Armenian prime minister, Nikol Pashinyan, held a phone call to discuss Armenian-Russian relations.
The sides reportedly exchanged view on the practical aspects of implementing the agreements agreed in the November 2020 and January 2021 trilateral statements, including the delimitation and demarcation of the Armenia-Azerbaijan border.
Moreover, they noted the need to continue efforts to resolve issues under the auspices of the OSCE Minsk Group co-Chairs, and discussed areas for future interaction within the Collective Security Treaty Organisation, of which Armenia now holds the chairmanship.
Putin reportedly informed Pashinyan about the talks with the US and its allies in light of the ongoing Ukrainian crisis.
