Pashinyan confirms Armenia-Azerbaijan foreign ministers' meeting next week

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has confirmed on Thursday (22 June) that the foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan - Ararat Mirzoyan and Jeyhun Bayramov - will meet next week.

Speaking at a meeting of his Cabinet on Thursday, PM Pashinyan said, "the meeting between the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Armenia and Azerbaijan will take place next week. Armenia has also offered Azerbaijan to hold a session of the delimitation commission, and there is a principled agreement to convene it."

"Armenia is also ready for the unblocking of transport and economic connections as soon as possible, under the sovereignty and jurisdiction of the parties and the principle of reciprocity."

The confirmation follows similar statements made yesterday (21 June) by the Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan, about which you can read more here.
