Senior Armenian and Azerbaijani officials met in Brussels on Friday (19 August) with the facilitation of the European Union.
The Secretary of the Armenian National Security Council, Armen Grigoryan, and the Senior Foreign Policy Advisor of the President of Azerbaijan, Hikmet Haciyev met in the presence of EU officials.

After their latest meeting in Brussels facilitated by European Council president Charles Michel, president Aliyev of Azerbaijan and prime minister Pashinyan of Armenia had indicated that they will meet again before the end of August.
