From 10 November 2020 until 15 October 2021 a total of 18,302 hectares (45,225 acres) of land were swept by demining experts. As many as 22,230 unexploded ordinances, 17,426 anti-personnel mines and 8,755 anti-tank mines had been detected and destroyed.

EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus, Toivo Klaar, on Thursday (21 October)met in Yerevan with Armenian prime minister Nikol Pashinyan. During the meeting Klaar assured the Armenian leader that the EU was ready to support the process of establishing an atmosphere of trust and dialogue in the region, which will contribute to peace and stability.
